Transformation: Product #3
One of the most important rules of makeup is there are NO rules. You can do what you want to, mix colors together and take risks. It's all about experimenting!
I love using a highlighter to just brighten up any look!
My favorite is by theBalm, it looks amazing on anyone and just a little bit can change a whole look.
Can the packaging get any cuter!
Highlighter, eyeshadow and shimmer ALL in this compact.
Here is a swatch of the Mary-Lou Manizer! The texture is super smooth and creamy and the shade is super versatile.
Here are my models rocking their looks with the complete transformation!
Three products can make a great difference, but there may be a few more products you may need.... which I will be featuring tomorrow!

Transformation: Product # 2
"Beauty, to me, is about being comfortable in your own skin. That, or a kick-ass red lipstick."
-Gwyneth Paltrow
Hope you enjoyed my last post about transforming eyes using the NAKED2 palette. Continuing with the transformation the next stop takes us to LIPS!

Bold lipstick can look intimidating, but the key is to find a shade that makes you comfortable. I like to stick with colors without shimmer. Obsessive Compulsive Cosmetics has a huge selection of lip tars which have enough pigmentation to be a lipstick but can be easily applied like lipgloss. Can that get any easier? I don't think so!
In combination with the lip tar I just used a lip brush and a lip liner to perfect the look. I think my models look great with their bold look! What do you think?
What's your favorite lip color and have you ever tried OCC lip tars?
Hope you are enjoying my transformation segment! Can you guess what tomorrows post will be about?

Adding color to your lips can add a touch of confidence and passion.

The OCC lip tar I used with this look is called Vintage, but they have many colors. The best part is the consistency which is super easy to mix and formulate your own colors!

Transformation: Product # 1
Makeup can sometimes give the biggest boost of confidence with such little effort. All you need to know is WHAT to use.
The NAKED 2 palette by Urban Decay is just that. Neutral colors with some matte, shimmer and glitter.
Before After
I use this palette on a daily basis on any occasion with any outfit. It is quick, easy and so much fun to experiment with. If you are looking to build your collection I strongly recommend the Urban Decay NAKED2 palette.
Stay tuned for the next stop of the makeup transformation!

I decided to focus on a few products to transform my sister and my cousin and of course they were ready to play dress up.
First stop: EYES
The key to picking out makeup is to use products that look great on everyone whether it's for a night out or just for a causal day of shopping.
Here are my lovely models:
Before After
I used Half Baked (golden-bronze with shimmer finish) all over the lid, Chopper (copper shimmer with small chunks of silver) on the outer corner and Bootycall (shimmering cork) in the inner corner.
I used the same colors on both my sister and my cousin and it looked stunning on both. Despite different skin tones and eye shapes they can both work it for a flawless look which can easily be transitioned from day to night. The texture of the eyeshadows are like butter easy to blend and yet so pigmented even my little sister can easily put them on herself.
To complete the look I just added some mascara and eyeliner for a bit bolder look.
Stay tuned for the next stop of the makeup transformation!

Learning is ART
It was Monday morning and I had a
brief interview with the program manager from Startup Institute, where she
presented two very simple yet intricate questions.
What I want to learn? & Who I want
to learn it from?
These
questions had always been in my mind but to answer them was a challenge. Could
the list ever end? Where do I start? As I paced around pondering, it finally
came to me…I want to learn everything from everyone, the good, the bad and the ugly.
What I want to learn?
To utilize not only knowledge but
resources presented to me to make a greater change to society.
How I can communicate with individuals
with various experiences to innovate new ideas and present them in such a way
that captivates the audience’s attention.
To love to learn from my mistakes, and
to grow through the risks I can potentially take.
To learn how to think from not only inside of the box but
also from the outside as well and combine it as one perspective.
Who do I want to learn it from?
Individuals who are inspired by Steve
Jobs, Mark Zuckerberg, Sergey Brin and Larry Page, they innovated such ideas
that truly transition people’s idea of “the want” to “the need”.
Facebook, Apple and Google continue to grow not because these founders
decided to create their artwork, publish it and retire. These individuals
continued to take risks and learn from their mistakes as they stay not one or
two steps ahead of society but ample strides ahead to ensure that they are the change
to society.
I also want to make sure I learn from
individuals who had taken risks and failed.
Learning is closely related to art and although some think failure is
the end of the world, I believe failure is just a reason for to start on bigger
and better blank canvas.
Thanks for reading! Keeep learning!

One of the best nights!
One Republic was a band I heard on the radio here and there, but it wasn't until I went to their concert I fell in love with them. Ryan Tedder performed with such passion it was unbelievable. They all did an amazing job! I can't stop listening to them. If you ever get an opportunity to see them I highly encourage it!
It is crazy to think how music can just bring thousands of people together no matter what their background or personality. Seeing everyone with such a calm peace of mind, together right across the Freedom tower was a breath taking experience. I can be feeling down and the best thing to do is grab my phone and go for a walk. The fresh air and the music can turn any day into a good day.
